How 2B Podcast came 2B

Hello! Welcome to Behind the Episodes! I created this space to be a collaborative and informative storytelling site! With that being said, here is the first story! 2B Podcast, how did it come 2B? To begin we have to start in July of 2020. I was dating a boy named Brenden at the time, and we were sat in his room, talking about the pandemic. I was telling him how I'd felt extremely uncreative throughout quarantine but had this cool idea to start a podcast. Him, being the supportive boyfriend he was, said that I should go for it! Me, being the scaredy-cat I was, started making a ton of excuses over the next few months as to why I couldn't possibly start podcasting. For one, I had no idea where to begin. What would I call it? What would I cover? Then, around August I ask Brenden if he wanted to be a co-host! He said, sure, could be fun. And so began the name game. All throughout college everyone had referred to me as Bella, so I thought oh Bella and Brenden! 2B's. Then we both tossed around the name 2B or Not 2B, because at the time we were going to talk about relationships, faith and the good v bad choices presented to us in college. Now take everything I said and forget it, because in April of 2021, Brenden and I broke up. At the time, I wasn't really concerned with the podcast, just thought I'd delete it. However, I'd already created so much, and even published two episodes at the time. (those episodes are no longer available for obvious reasons). Then, after a few rough months of finding myself, and a ton of prayer, I decided to keep the podcast, because I knew I had invaluable knowledge and it should not go to waste! Plus I really enjoy talking. I kept the name 2B because throughout the break-up the Lord reminded me all of the little meant 2B's I had forgotten. I was meant to 2B loved, I was meant 2B surrounded by positive people, I was meant 2B heard, I was meant 2B valued by myself and others. I was meant 2B Bella. So, then I went on and created a new cover photo, which probably will keep changing because I can never truly decide how 2B is suppose to be presented. I mean, does it look like I'm talking about bee's?...oh goodness, there I go again. Anyway, there ya go, that's how the podcast started. Short and simple, but also extremely complicated if you've been here from the start. The next post is going to talk about how I create episodes, I mean honestly, where do the ideas come from?
